Camilla, Georgia. Vivian Palmer Williford, 78, of Camilla died Tuesday, 12 Jan 1993, at the Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Thursday, 14 Jan 1993, at Parker Funeral Chapel with the Rev Edgar Davis and the Rev Harris Malcolm officiating. Burial was held at Branchville Cemetery in Camilla. Born in Mitchell County on 14 Dec 1914, Mrs. Williford was the daughter of the late W. D. Palmer Sr. and Julia Spence. She was a life long resident of Camilla. Mrs. Williford was retired from County Seat in Camilla as a retail sales person. She was a member of the Camilla Pilot Club. She was a member of the Love Sunday School Class and Camilla First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, 'Betty Freeman of Athens and Charlene Williams of Unadilla; three brothers, W. D. Palmer Jr., Howard and Bo Frank Palmer, all of Camilla; three sisters, Grace Youmans of Albany, Hazel Clark of Camilla and Florence Baker of Sale City; two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Parker Funeral Home in Camilla had charge of the arrangements.
