Wyona Palmer Colvin, 66, of Pelham, died Tuesday, 28 Sep 1993, at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville, Ga. Funeral services were held Thursday, 30 Sep, at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The Rev C. Frank Lamb Jr. officiated and the Rev Jasper Sadler assisted. Burial was in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born 21 Oct 1926, in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Carrie Belle Thomas Palmer and the late Roy Lee Palmer. She was a retired secretary for Crow Chevrolet-Buick, a clerk for Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Bill Colvin of Cotton; one step-son, Scotty Colvin of Camilla; one step daughter, Krista Harrison of Moultrie. Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham was in charge of arraignments.
