Pelham, Georgia. PELHAM--Annie Bell Palmer, 83, of 358 Palmer Road, Pelham, died Friday, August 9, 2002 at her residence. Funeral services will be held today (Monday) 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Pickering will officiate. A native of Mitchell County, born May 31, 1919, Mrs. Palmer was daughter of the late Clide Hutto Scarbrough and Fred Scarbrough. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, she was also a homemaker. Survivor include her husband, K.D. Palmer Sr. of Pelham; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Rabun Whigham of Pelham, and Karen and Ed Willis of Moultrie; a son and daughter-in-law, K.D. and Gloria Palmer of Pelham; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Martha Pennington and her husband, J.C. of Clearwater, FL, and Betty Orr of Ocala, FL; and six grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
