Obituary of Clifford Palmer Osteen 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated 26 Feb 2002.  

Albany, Georgia.  
CAMILLA--Clifford Palmer Osteen, 94, of 161 East Broad 
Street, Camilla, died Monday, February 25, 2002.  The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. today 
at First Baptist Church in Camilla with burial at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Rev. 
Lester Turley will officiate.  A native of Mitchell County, Mrs. Osteen was a retired 
school teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church for 85 years and was a member 
of the Veterinarian Medicine Auxiliary.  Survivors include her sons, James Osteen of 
Garden City and Aubrey Osteen of Atlanta; sister, Ermine P. Branch of Blairsville; nine 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Dr. A.J. Osteen, married for 58 years and parents, James L. Palmer and Ella Baker.
