Albany, Georgia. CAMILLA--Claudia V. Lowery, 83, of Baconton died Thursday, February 28, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with burial in Cool Springs Cemetery. The Rev. J.P. Wood will officiate. Pallbearers include Larry Williams, Jake Williams, Laval Williams, Clayton Etheridge, Albert Quiedgon, Jamie Williams, Eugene Blackburn and Michael Hall. Born March 9, 1918 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Lowery was a homemaker and a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. She was married to the late Alton Lowery and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Willie Jewell Shirah Vines. Mrs. Lowery was preceded in death by a husband, Millard Filmore Williams, a son, Frank Filmore Williams and a daughter, Audrey Laverne Eager. Survivors include three sons, Billy Williams of Albany, Joseph Williams of Lakeland, Fla., and Rodney Williams of Vada; three sisters, Ruth Blackburn of Baconton, Christine Hathcock of Baconton and Grace McLeod of Sale City; 14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
