CAMILLA--Inez "Bill" Glenn Beasley, 79, of 2360 Cumberland Road, Pelham, Cotton Community, died Monday, June 10, 2002, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with burial in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Rev. Howard Cooper and the Rev. Olen Cain will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dickie Jones, Bill Truluck, Rodney Truluck, Blake Beasley, Reggie Feagin and Daniel Justice. The Hinsonton Baptist Church deacons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Born March 4, 1923, in Mitchell County, Mrs. Beasley was a homemaker and a member of Hinsonton Baptist Church. She was the Adult Sunday School Teacher at Hinsonton Baptist Church, a member of the Cotton Homemakers, a member of the Mitchell EMC Leadership Board and very popular in community activities. Mrs. Beasley was the assistant postmaster for the Cotton Post Office for 26 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Eldridge and Mary Ella Barton Glenn. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Edwin Beasley. Survivors include her husband, Edwin Beasley of Cotton; a daughter, Priscilla Cox of Cotton; a son, Tony Beasley and his wife Janice of Cotton; two sisters, Lillian McClure of Columbus and Bess Truluck of Hinsonton; grandsons, Mark Davis and Stanley Cox; granddaughters, Deanna Holland, Kandy Marshall and Tanya Sheperd; and eight great grandchildren.
