CAMILLA---Julius "Jimmy" Cleveland Crosby Jr., 66, of 284 S. Harney Street, Camilla, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Camilla with burial in Oakview Cemetery. The Rev. Tony Haefs will officiate. Born February 17, 1936, in Mitchell County, Mr. Crosby was a former member of Sherwood Baptist Church of Albany, where he served as deacon and was a member of First Baptist Church of Camilla. Mr. Crosby was retired from retail business, where he was associated with Western Auto Store of Camilla for many years and later with Lowe's of Albany. He was a graduate of Mitchell County High School and a 1958 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received his degree in Business Administration. He was the son of the late Julius Cleveland Crosby Sr. and Ruby Lucille Howell Crosby. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Green Crosby of Camilla; daughter, Judy Crosby of Athens; two sons, Julius "Jim" C. Crosby III of Newnan and Mark Crosby of Albany; two grandchildren, Madison Crosby and Charles Crosby. Visitation will be 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. today at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
