Obituary of Lew Amaryllis Ferrell Lawrence 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated _______.    


Albany, Georgia.  Lew Amaryllis "Doodle" Lawrence, 71, of 
Thomasville, died Saturday, January 19, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in 
Thomasville.  Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a.m. today (Monday) in 
Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Rev. Lynn Roberts will officiate.  Born September 11, 
1930 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Lawrence was a homemaker. She was married to the late 
Jackie Ferrell and was preceded in death by a son, Jess Ferrell. Mrs. Lawrence was the 
daughter of the late Wiley and Maggie Griner Williams.  Survivors include her husband, 
George Lawrence of Thomasville; a daughter and son-in-law, Dolli and Sam Etheridge of 
Orlando, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Jill Ferrell Byers of Mineral Bluff, Ga.; a stepdaughter, 
Lisa Morrell of Albany; two stepsons, Al Lawrence of Macon and Bill Lawrence of 
Albany; three grandchildren, Mandi Etheridge of Meeker, Colo., Alec Etheridge of 
Temecula, Calif., and Jessie Ferrell of Valdosta.
