December 27, 2005. 
Born in Mitchell
County, GA., April 1, 1914. 
preceded in death by his Father and mother, Rev. & Mrs. W. S. Boynton
brother Arnold Boynton, and nephew, Michael Boynton. 
Member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church 
Retired from the Atlantic Coastline Railroad, Liberty National Life 
Insurance Co., and the City of Jacksonville
Survivors 
wife, Ophie McKown Boynton
brother, Hillman A. (Jeanette) Boynton
3 daughters, Stephanie (Nate) Haskett, Sarah (Jerry) Smoot
and Terri Maltby
8 grandchildren, Bert (Vicki) Sauls, 
Rhonda Teese, Rev. Jay (Lori) Smoot, Matthew (Stephanie) Maltby, 
Sgt. John-Michael Maltby, and Mark Maltby, 
4 great-grandchildren, 
Danny Reese, Tannor Smoot, Morgan Smoot, Kelli English and several 
nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services at George H. Hewell & Son Funeral Home, Northside, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, 
FL 32206. 
Service held in the chapel December 31st at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Herb Reavis, Jr. and Rev. Ben Tippett presiding. 
Graveside services will be held next week at Pelham City Cemetery, Pelham, GA.
