Camilla, Georgia. William McKinley Brimberry, 60, passed away suddenly Friday evening, September 27, in Thomasville, Georgia. He was stricken with a heart attack while enroute by ambulance to Archbold Hospital and was pronounced dead upon arrival. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock from Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla. Rev. Louis M. Spivey officiated. Interment was in the family plot in Sunset cemetery. Bramlett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Olin Brimberry, Gregory Daniels, R. D. Covington, Marvin Crosson, Cary Bryant and Milward Eubanks. Mr. Brimberry was born in Camilla in 1897, the son of the late Thomas Walton Brimberry and Lena Parker Brimberry. He received his education in the Camilla Public Schools and Noman Junior College, Norman Park, Ga. He joined the Army at an early age and was a veteran of the Mexican Campaign and World War I. He was engaged in construction work until ill health forced him to retire. Survivors include two sons, Walter J. Brimberry of Wyandotte, Michigan, and Airman Third Class Edwin E. Brimberry, USAF, Alexandria, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Betty B. Caldwell of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. A. R. Roles of Camilla and Mrs. N. B. Laseter of Jacksonville, Fla., and nine grandchildren.
