Obituary for Kathryn Knowles Collins as written in “The Albany Herald”

Kathryn Knowles Collins

PELHAM – Kathryn Knowles Collins, 80, of Pelham died Wednesday, August 10, 
2005, 
at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville.

The funeral will be a 3 p.m. today at Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home with 
interment
in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Rev. Carl Stewart and the Rev. Ronnie Morrell
will officiate.

Casketbearers will be Steve Morrell, Alex Morrell, Randy Covington, Craig 
Hamilton,
Vince Payne and Jack Morrell.

Born October 12, 1924, in Ashburn, to Enos Knowles and Jimmy Clements, Mrs. 
Collins was a homemaker. She was a member of Lake Pleasant Baptist Church.

In additon to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul Collins.

Survivors  include her husband, John Collins, Jr. of Peham; son, John Collins 
III of 
Pelham;  daughter, Kay Collins of Pelham; sister, Betty Alexander of Ashburn; 
brother,
Paul Knowles of Columbia, S. C.

Contributions may be made to Lake Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund.
