Camilla, Georgia. James Robert Cook, 52, of Camilla, died Sunday night in a Middle Georgia hospital followin a lengthy illness. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a. m. Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church here with the Rev. Cecil Chance officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Beasley. Interment was in Oakview Cemetery here with Bramlett Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Cook was a retired farmer and native of Mitchell County. He was a son of the late Robert Tilman and Mattie Jarvis Cook. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Royce Gay of Sylvester, Mrs. J. C. Edwards of Camilla, Mrs. Richard DeBarry of Newton, and Mrs. R. Constantino of Albany; two sons, J. E. (Dick) Cook of Leary, and R. T. (Bobby) Cook of Waycross; a brother, Walter E. Cook of Albany; 14 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
