Obituary of Bobbie Jessie Godwin Crosby as written on page 9 of "The Camilla 
Enterprise" dated 5 Oct 1961.   
Mrs. Bobbie Jessie Crosby, widow of the late Chesley A. Crosby, died Tuesday at 
her residence at the age of 68.  Funeral services were held yesterday 
afternoon, Wednesday, at four o'clock at the First Baptist Church of Pelham 
with Rev. T. M. Underwood Jr., pastor officiating.  Interment followed in the 
Pelham Cemetery with Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham in charge of 
arrangements.  Pallbearers included J. L. Joiner, Jr., Jack Porter, Milward 
Dekle, Ira Cook, Arthur J. Hendricks, and Ken Harmon.  Mrs. Crosby was born in 
Mitchell County October 1, 1893.  She is survived by one son, Albert Crosby of 
Pelham; one brother, Steve Godwin of Pelham; thee sisters, Mrs. W. A. Little 
and Mrs. Joe Porter, both of Pelham, and Mrs. Jerry Banks of Tampa, Fla.; three 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
