  Funeral services for William Frederick Eason were conducted Sunday morning at 
the Methodist Church in Cobbtown.  Mr. Eason died Thursday in the Veterans 
Hospital in Augusta following an illness of one year.  He was born April 1, 
1913, and had been a lifelong resident of Baconton, except for five years spent 
in the U. S. Army in World War II.  Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Joseph 
Rucker of Baconton; four brothers, E. S. Eason of Camilla, H. B. Eason of 
Milan, R. B. and H. A. Eason of Tifton, as well as several nieces and nephews, 
including Miss Charlotte Daniels of Baconton.  Active pallbearers were E. S. 
Davis, Lee A. Collins, Rufus Moxley, Henry Moxley, Harry Mulling Jr. and 
Charles Mulling.
