Camilla, Georgia. Mrs. Harmon Palmer, a dearly beloved resident of this county passed away at her home in east Mitchell on Wednesday morning at one o'clock after an illness of about a week from pneumonia. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion, Wednesday afternoon and interment made in the cemetery there. A large number of relatives and friends were present to pay their respect to this good woman. Mrs. Palmer was about sixty years old at the time of her death. For a number of years she had been a faithful and consistent member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and her daily life was that of the Christian, which stood the test through her long years of usefulness. The deceased is survived by her husband and the following children: Messrs. Russ, Tom, John, Ambrose, and Press Palmer, Mrs. Lee Eubanks, Mrs. Roscoe Eubanks, and Mrs. Albert Powell. She is also survived by one brother, Mr. Jonathan Luckey, and three sisters, Mrs. S.E. Palmer, Miss Winnie Luckey and Mrs. Loyd Shiver.
