Obituary of Elisha Lastinger 
as written in "The Camilla Enterprise" dated 2 Oct 1908.  

Camilla, Georgia.  The death of Mr. Elisha Lastinger, one of the oldest citizens of 
the county, was reported in the city yesterday morning as having occurred at his home 
west of Pelham Wednesday last, 30 Sep 1908, of old age, he being 70 odd years old at the 
time of his death.  Mr. Lastinger was the father of Mr. E. P. Lastinger, of this city, and 
has many friends in the county who will regret to learn of his death. To the surviving 
members of the family, the ENTERPRISE joins a large number of friends in extending 
sympathy.
