Camilla, Georgia. Mrs. Genova Griner, a good woman and well beloved by numbers of friends, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ira Smith, near Faircloth on Friday, 30 Jun 1916, evening after an illness of a few days only. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion at 12:00 PM Saturday 1 July 1916, in the presence of a large number of friends and loved ones. Rev H. N. Burnett conducted the services. Mrs. Griner was about 50 years of age. She is survived by several children and by two sisters. She was a noble Christian woman and loved by all who knew her, and her death is a source of deep sorrow and regret in the community where she lived and spread the sweet Christian influence of her life. The family and loved ones have the tender sympathy of numbers of friends in their hour of grief.
