Seigler Adams as written in "The Camilla Enterprise" dated 15 Dec 1916. The entire community was grievously shocked yesterday by the news of the death of Mrs. Wyatt Adams, which occurred at about twelve o'clock. Mrs. Adams had a fall Wednesday afternoon while about her duties in her home. She had started to go out the door, when she made a mis-step in some way and fell out. She was bruised by the fall but did not think her injuries serious until she began to suffer pain. A doctor was called in and it was found that there was internal injury of some sort. Mrs. Adams steadily grew worse during the night and the doctors were preparing to operate yesterday morning, when they found that it was too late. Her husband and all of her children except one were at her bedside when she passed away at noon yesterday. Mrs. Adams was about sixty years of age. She was a woman of beautiful Christian character and the years of her life were spent in such a way that she was deeply beloved by all with whom she came in contact, who commend her for her many works of love and charity. She was a faithful and consistent member of the Baptist Church for a long number of years. Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Mr. Wyatt Adams, three daughters, Mrs. Albert Ott of Norman Park; Mrs. Lester Adams of Pelham; and Mrs. M J. Sanders of this city; and one son, Mr. John R. Adams, also of this city. At the time of going to press, we were unacquainted with any funeral arrangements being made. The funeral will probably take place some time today. The many friends and relatives throughout the county join in extending to the bereaved family their tender sympathy in this sad hour.
