Mr. Roy Dennis Beasely, aged twenty-two, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Beasely, of Hartsfield, died at the home of his father-in-law, Rev J. T. Rigsby, at Sale City, at 12:00 PM Wednesday, 10 Oct 1928, after a weeks illness from pernicious malaria. The numerous friends of this young man were grievously shocked by his sudden and untimely death. He spent most of his boyhood in Sale City and was generally admired. On reaching manhood he developed into a fine character and was industrious young business man. He was with the Bush Motor Company of Albany. He was happily married to Miss Irene Rigsby about two years ago. Funeral services were announced to take place at Hartsfield Thursday, 11 Oct 1928, afternoon, conducted by Rev S. O. Thomas and Ren H. N. Burnett.
