The funeral of little Sara Burson, three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Burson, of Liveoak, who died on Thursday, 19 Jul 1923, afternoon of last week after a short illness from diptheria, was held at the home Friday, 20 Jul 1923, morning at 10 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. J. G. Graham, assisted by the Rev. J. H. House. The pall bearers were Messrs. G. C. Burson, E. N. Burson and Judge B. T. Burson and Mr. Reid Ivey. A number of beautiful floral offerings attested to the loving sympathy of the numbers of friends of the grief stricken parents. The funeral was followed by the interment at Oakview cemetery. The little girl is survived by her parents, three sisters, Mary Ruth and Eunice and two brothers, Joe and Allen. The suddenness of her death caused a sad shock to the many friends, who weep with the sad parents in Christian sympathy.
