Obituary of Janie Virginia Fulghum as written on page 2 of "The Camilla 
Enterprise" dated 23 Feb 1961.  Camilla, Georgia.   
Janie Virginia Fulghum, age thirteen, of Sale City, died last Thursday, 
February 16th, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany after a lengthy illness. 
Funeral services were held Firday at Cool Springs Baptist Church near Sale City 
with the Rev. O. M. Lassiter officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery 
with Bramlett Funeral Home, Camilla, in charge of arrangements.  She was born 
in Mitchell County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Clayton Fulghum Sr.  She 
attended Sale City School.  Other survivors include two brothers, Russell 
Fulghum and Clayton Fulghum Jr., both of Sale City; seven sisters, Mrs. Bob 
Karlson of Baltimore, Md., Hilda Fulghum, Gail Fulghum, Eva Fulghum, Janice 
Fulghum, Dinah Lynn Fulghum and Paula Fulghum, all of Sale City; her maternal 
grandmother, Mrs. W. R. Harrell of Miami, Fla.
