Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services were held Friday, February 3rd, at the Lake Pleasant Baptist Church in Mitchell County for Wallace Huey Futch, Jr., age 28, of Pelham, who died earlier in the week in a train-truck crash at Ormond Beach, Fla. He had been living in Vero Beach, Fla. and was hauling a load of tomatoes at the time. Interment took place in the Liberty Hill Cemetery with Braswell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers were Lynwood Williford, Jack Williford, Ralph Collins, Jimmy Autry, Dick Roberson, Lynwood Harrell. He was born in Mitchell County March 25, 1932. His mother is Mrs. Maggie Futch, of Hinsonton. He was married to the former Miss Rosa Lee Wilson. Besides his mother and wife he survived by two sons, Wallace H. Futch III, and James Futch. Two daughters, Cheryl Futch and Cynthia Futch. His brothers are Eugene Futch of Meigs, Alf, Thomas and Calvin Futch, all of Hinsonton. His sisters are Mrs. Harry Tyson of Hinsonton, Mrs. Carlton Kirkland of Savannah, Mrs. Rayburn Lamb of Thomasville, Mrs. Carrol Warren of Meigs and Miss Lynda Faye Futch of Hinsonton.
