Wallace H. Futch died Tuesday, Sept. 4, at his home in Hinsonton following a lengthy illness. He was 70 years of age. Funeral services were held yesterday, Thursday, at five o'clock at the HInsonton Baptist Church with the Rev. T. J. Barnett officiating and assisted by Rev. Harry Hart. Interment followed in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were A. F. Spinks, W. F. Williford, Frank Musgrove Jr., T. T. Robinson, W. T. Marshall Jr., W. H. Rouse Jr. Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Futch was born seventy years ago in Tattnall County. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Hinsonton Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Maggie Curles and five daughters, Mrs. H. L. Tyson, Miss Johnnie Mae Futch and Miss Lynda Fay Futch, all of Hinsonton, Mrs. O. L. Lamb of Claxton, Mrs. Rayburn Lamb of Thomasville; five sons, Eugene, Alf and Thomas Futch, all of Hinsonton community, Calvin Futch of Thomasville and Wallace Futch Jr. of Claxton; five brothers, Jim of Jacksonville, Fla., Joe of Melbourne, Fla., W. E. of Glenville, Fla., and E. W. and B. F. Futch, both of Miami, Fla.
