Obituary of John Hansel Glenn as written on page 8 of "The Camilla Enterprise" 
dated 12 Dec 1958.  Camilla, Georgia.  
Funeral services for John Hansel Glenn Sr., 62, of Pelham, who died at his home 
early Saturday following a lengthy period of ill health, were held at 4:30 p. 
m. Sunday, December 7, at the Pelham First Baptist Church.  The Rev. T. M. 
Underwood officiated and interment was in Pelham Cemetery with Braswell Funeral 
Home in charge.  Mr. Glenn, a native and lifelong resident of Mitchell County, 
was a member of the First Baptist Church, a director of Pelham Federal Savings 
and Loan Association, and a partner in Art Tailor Shop.  Survivors include his 
wife, the former Miss Daisy Davis; three sons, John H. Glenn, Jr. of Albany, 
Carl Glenn of Folkston and Roy Glenn, U. S. Navy of Key West, Fla.; a brother, 
Hill Glenn of Pelham; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ott and Mrs. Jennie Cameron, both 
of Pelham, and seven grandchildren.
