The Camilla Enterprise
Obituary of Hill James Glenn as written on page 5 of "The Camilla Enterprise" 
dated 16 Feb 1961.  Camilla, Georgia.   
Funeral services for Hill James Glenn, age 61, of Pelham, were held Saturday 
afternoon at three o'clock at the First Baptist Church of Pelham with the 
pastor, Rev. T. M. Underwood, officiating.  Interment was in Pelham Cemetery 
with Braswell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Active pallbearers were 
Sam Miller, C. W. Joiner, Jr., A. R. Jones, Dr. J. C. Brock, L. L. Howell and 
Tom Howell.  Mr. Glenn died last Thursday, February 9th, at Mitchell County 
Hospital following a brief illness.  He was a native of Mitchell County, a 
member of the First Baptist Church and a veteran of World War One.  He was a 
prominent farmer in the county.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Opal Everett 
Glenn of Pelham; a daughter, Mrs. J. H. Marshall, Jr. of Rome; two sisters, 
Mrs. Mae Ott and Mrs. Jennie Cameron, both of Pelham; and two grandchildren.
