Obituary of Harry Augustus Gee as written on page 6 of "The Camilla Enterprise" 
dated 17 May 1957.  Camilla, Georgia.  

Mr. H. A. Gee, age 85, native of Mitchell County and son of the late Mr. and 
Mrs. Bolivar H. Gee, of Mitchell County, died Friday, May 10, in Bainbridge 
after an illness of several weeks.  He had lived for many years in Climax, Ga., 
and was a retired farmer.  Mr. Gee's only living sister is Mrs. J. S. Joiner, 
of Camilla.  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, May 12, at four 
o'clock at the Climax Methodist Church, of which he was a member.  Officiating 
ministers were Rev. J. M. Lackey, Rev. A. C. Prickette and Rev. John Paul 
Jones.  Active pallbearers were Allen Phillips, Dave Mosely, Laura Thomas, Earl 
Hester, Carl Cloud and L. O. Folds.  Honorary pallbearers were D. D. Smith, J. 
J. Howell, Henry Swicord, H. E. Grover, Wallace Conoly, Hoyt Smallwood, W. B. 
Hardie, L. L. Ward, John Taylor, Jimmie Taylor, Sam Fletcher, R. E. Williams, 
Alton Byrd, Marvin Knight, W. C. Sloan, J. M. Jeter, Dr. Frank Gibson, J. H. 
Wells, A. E. White, Hoyt Sapp, Frank Thomas and Wallace Grover.  Interment was 
in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Besides his sister, Mrs. Joiner, the deceased is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Carter Gee; two sons, Lester Gee of Attapulgus, 
and C. M. Gee of Climax; three daughters, Mrs. T. B. Harley of Tallahassee, 
Fla., Mrs. H. A. Miller of Brinson, and Mrs. Corene Elmore of Climax.  In 
addition he is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
