Hatcher as written on page 3 of "The Camilla Enterprise" dated 22 Oct 1959. Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, October 20th, at three o'clock at the Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church on the Sale City-Lester road for Clarence R. Hatcher, age 77, who died at Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla Monday, October 19th, after a brief illness. Officiating at the funeral services were Rev. W. L. Bronson, Rev. Willie Sellers, and Rev. Edgar T. Davis, Jr., of Camilla. Interment was in the church cemetery. Bramlett Funeral Home of Camilla had charge of funeral arrangements. Mr. Hatcher was born and reared in Mitchell County and spent his entire life here. He was a farmer and landowner in the Sale City, Baconton sections. He was the son of the late Pleasant and Evelyn Faircloth Hatcher. Survivors include his wife, the former Lucile Vines; three sons, C. B. Hatcher of Sale City, L. T. Hatcher of Baconton, and Billy Hatcher of Sale City; five daughters, Mrs. Lee Crosby of Moultrie, Mrs. Wilborn Bowles of Leesburg, Ga., Mrs. Massey Hatcher of Baconton, Mrs. Roy Skipper of Baconton, Mrs. Bill Ross of Camilla; two brothers, E. M. Hatcher of Camilla and H. V. Hatcher of Baconton; twp sisters, Mrs. Will Ferguson of Albany, Mrs. C. M. Ferguson of Baconton; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
