Obituary of Henrietta "Etta" Adams Hill as written on page 1 of "The Camilla 
Enterprise" dated 1 Dec 1960.  Camilla, Georgia.   
Mrs. Henry T. Hill, age 74, of Sale City, died at Vereen Memorial Hospital in 
Moultrie on Monday, November 28th, after an illness of about four days.  
Funeral services were held yesterday, Wednesday, afternoon at two o'clock at 
Sale City Baptist Church.  The Rev. Edwin Bass and Rev. L. E. Burton officiated 
and interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Bramlett Funeral Home of 
Camilla was in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Hill was born in Mitchell County 
July 31, 1886, daughter of Lafayette and Rebecca Mason Adams, pioneer settlers 
of the county.  She was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, member 
of Sale City Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday School class her entire 
adult life.  Survivors include her husband; three sons, Roscoe T. Hill of 
Leesburg, Fla., J. D. Hill of Winter Haven, Fla., and Preston Hill of Hastings, 
Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Newberry of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. C. 
P. Rowley of Cocoa, Fla., and Mrs. Myrtis Sandusky of Patrick Air Force Base, 
Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. E. B. McDaniel of Sale City and Mrs. J. T. West of 
Albany.
