The Camilla Enterprise
Obituary of Roscoe Thomas Hill as written on page 1 of "The Camilla Enterprise" 
dated 5 Jan 1961.  Camilla, Georgia.   
Roscoe Thomas Hill, age 52, Lady Lake, Fla., formerly of Sale City, died 
December 27th at Eustis, Fla., Hospital after a lengthy illness.  Funeral 
services were held December 28th at Sale City Baptist Church with Rev. J. W. 
McAdams and Rev. Edwin Bass officiating.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery 
with Bramlett Funeral Home of Camilla in charge of arrangements.  Mr. Hill was 
born August 28th, 1908, in Brooks County, son Henry Hill and the late Mrs. 
Hill.  He was an inspector for the USDA before ill health forced his 
retirement.  His wife preceded him in death in January of last year.  She was 
the former Miss Nomie Cuffin.  Besides his father other survivors include two 
brothers, J. D. Hill of Winter Haven, Fla., Preston Hill of Hastings, Fla.; 
three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Rowley of Cocoa, Fla., Mrs. Myrtice Sandusky of 
Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., and Mrs. Estelle Newberry of Lake Worth, Fla.
