  Many Camilla friends were grieved by news of the death of Mrs. Mayne Davis 
Mitchell of Thomasville, wife of the late Taylor H. Mitchell and sister of Mrs. 
G. B. Baggs Sr. of this place which took place at 2;30 o'clock Sunday afternoon 
at Archbold Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since the middle of 
last week when she was rushed to the hospital after becoming acutely ill.  
Funeral services took place at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at her late residence 
conducted by her pastor of many years, the Rev. T. F. Callaway, retired pastor 
of the First Baptist Church.
