  Mrs. R. M. Marshall, prominent and beloved Camilla matron, died unexpectedly 
at an early hour Wednesday morning, November 30, in Hollywood Memorial Hospital 
in Hollywood, Florida, shortly after reaching Hollywood to spend the winter 
months with her sister, Mrs. Joe H. Hollingsworth.  The Hollingsworth family 
had come to Camilla last weekend to be with Mr. and Mrs. Marshall for 
Thanksgiving and other members of family had joined them for a pleasant 
weekend.  The Marshalls returned to Hollywood with the Hollingsworths, reaching 
there Tuesday.  Mrs. Marshall complained of being ill about midnight and was 
carried to the hospital where she died several hours later.  Funeral services 
will be held this morning (Friday) at 10:30 o'clock a the Camilla Methodist 
Church where she was a member.  The pastor, Rev. Louis Spivey, will officiate, 
and Bramlett Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Marshall was 
the former Miss Belle Wood, daughter of the late James G. and Annie Whitworth 
Wood.  She was born in Tennessee and moved to Camilla with her parents as a 
small child.  February 12, 1878.  She would have celebrated her 78th birthday 
very soon.  Mrs. Marshall was first married to the late Joe B. Wilson who lived 
only a short while after their marriage and she was later married to Mr. 
Marshall with whom she spent many long and happy years.  To this latter union 
was born two children, a son, Wood Marshall, and a daughter, Mrs. Dude Hill, 
who survive her along with Mr. Marshall and one sister, Mrs. Joe Hollingsworth 
of Hollywood, Fla., and one brother, Tom W. Wood of Chipley, Fla.  Two 
grandchildren also survive.
