Gladys Sadler Pye  Businesswoman

  Gladys Sadler Pye, 91, of Albany, died Wednesday at Palmyra Nursing Home.
  The funeral will be at 11 a. m. Friday at Crown Hill Cemetery.  The Rev. 
Bobby Harrell will officiate.
  A native of Mitchell County, Mrs. Pye had lived in Albany most of her life.  
She previously owned W. L. Pye grocery store and was a member of Sunnyside 
Baptist Church.
  Survivors include her stepson, Donald L. Pye, Sr. of Albany, three sisters, 
Hazel Middleton of Lake Seminole, Gertrude Sadler of Albany and Nellie Jewell 
of Opelika, Ala., a brother, John Sadler of Albany; and five grandchildren and 
seven great-grandchildren.
  The family is at the residence of Rev. and Mrs. Bobby Harrell, 115 Carowinds 
Road, Leesburg.  Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
