Pelham Journal week of Jan.16, 1978

  James Norwood Eubanks Sr., 70 of Thomasville died at his residence Jan.13. 
Funeral services were held Sunday January 15th at 3 p.m. at the chapel of 
Braswell Funeral Home with Rev. Jasper Sadler officiating.  Interment was in 
Mt. Zion cemetery.
  A native of Mitchell County, Mr. Eubanks was born August 12, 1907, the son of 
the late Robert Lee Eubanks and the late Maggie Palmer Eubanks.
  A member of the Mt Zion Church, he was a retired farmer.
  Survivors include his wife, Mrs Ruby Smith Eubanks of Thomasville. One 
daugher, Mrs Jerry Harris, Waterloo, Iowa, two sons, James Eubanks of Cave 
Springs, Ga., and Johnny Eubanks of Leesburg, Ga. Nine grandchildren also 
survive.
  Pallbearers were Ralph Eubanks, A.V. Palmer, Jerome Chason, Don Mitchell, 
Allen Eubanks, and Milwood Eubanks. Braswell Funeral Home in charge.
