Camilla, Georgia. Funeral services for Joseph Munlin Palmer, 58, who died Feb. 13, after an extended illness, were held Saturday at Mispah Baptist Church in Pelham, with the Rev. Lee Dolloff, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery with Braswell Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Palmer, born and reared in Mitchell County, was the son of the late Neadom Lee Palmer and Lucy Ott Palmer. His wife, Emma Lou Chason Palmer preceded him in death several years ago. Survivors include two sons, Carl L. Palmer of Honolulu, T. H. and Underwood Palmer of Anniston, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. T. M. Strickland of Irving, Texas, and Miss Maxine Palmer of Albany; five brothers, all of Pelham, Mitt, Aviour, Tommy Hubert and Eulomas Palmer; two sisters, Mrs. Johnny Marchant of Pelham and Mrs. H. T. Trammell of Highland, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
