Obituary of Phillip Alva Parker as written on page 4 of "The Camilla 
Enterprise" dated 28 Jan 1960.  Camilla, Georgia.   
Bringing sorrow last weekend to family and friends alike was the death of the 
little fourteen month old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Paul Parker, of Camilla, 
the child being named Phillip Alva.  The child died Saturday, January 23rd, in 
Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany following an illness.  Funeral services were 
held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 P. M. at the First Baptist Church of Camilla, the 
Rev. Orman P. Sloat, pastor of Camilla Methodist Church, officiating.  
Interment was in Oakview Cemetery with Bramlett Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.  Survivors in addition to his parents, his mother being the 
former Miss Frances Price, include a brother, William, and a sister, Marilyn; 
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Price of Camilla, and paternal 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Parker, also of Camilla.
