Obituary of Leon Franklin Pollock Sr. as written on page 5 of "The Camilla 
Enterprise" dated 21 Jul 1960.  Camilla, Georgia.   
Funeral services for Leon Pollock, age 52, of Rt. 3, Bainbridge, were held 
Tuesday, July 12th, at Delwood Baptist Church in Mitchell County with Rev. E. 
R. Cloud and the Rev. Ira Crump officiating.  Interment was in the Delwood 
Cemetery.  Mr. Pollock died at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge on Monday 
following a short illness.  He was born in Mitchell County, but had lived for 
the last 38 years in Decatur County and was a prominent farmer.  He was a 
member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. 
Maggie Belle Dean; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Josey of Brinson; two sons, Leon F. 
Pollock Jr. and William Herbert Pollock, both of Bainbridge; three 
grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Mary Lou Pollock of Camilla; three sisters, 
Mrs. Harvey Wilder of Climax, Mrs. Carl Darley of Albany, and Mrs. Maston 
Lambert of Cairo; and three brothers, G. H. Pollock of Attapulgus, Judson and 
Lloyd Pollock, both of Camilla.
