Parker (s/b Fleta) Services Held At Bold Springs Services for Mrs. Flita Cope- land Parker, 76, who died at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Grady County Hospital, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the Bold Springs Methodist Church with Rev. Virgil Lee and Rev. Hugh Lee Brinkley in charge. Burial followed in the Bold Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Noles Smith, Guy Crumb, Alfred Atk- kinson, London Willis, J. F. Parker and Virgil Smith. Honorary pallbearers were T. W. Aldredge, D. F. Brookins, George Faulkner, E. G. Drew, Leonard Rich and H. G. Hudson. Mrs. Parker was born in Mit- chell county Nov. 23, 1883, daugh- ter of J. W. and Mellie Godwin Copeland. She was married to Walter Parker who preceded her in death May, 1953. She had lived all of her life in this county and was a member of the Bold Springs Methodist Church. Survivors include seven sons, Frank, Cairo, Johnnie, Thomas- ville, Clyde, Jackson, Ga. , Billy J. of Tampa, William O'Neal, Thomasville, Clarence B., At- lanta, Stacy M.,Army Base, Alaska. Two daughters, Mary L. Cog- land, Atlanta and Mrs Magdeline Chapman, Ochlochnee, three sis- ters, Mrs. Trudy Atkinson, Thom- asville, Mrs. Dollie Willis, Thom- asville and Mrs. Estelle Spooner, Cairo, 33 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Arrangements were in charge of Clark Funeral Home.
