Obituary of Susan Rebecca Adams Sanders as written on page 6 of "The Camilla 
Enterprise" dated 1 May 1959.  Camilla, Georgia.  
Funeral services for Mrs. Mark J. Sanders, age 80, were held Wednesday morning 
at eleven o'clock at the Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. Edgar T. Davis, 
Jr., of Camilla, officiating and assisted by Rev. Otis Glover.  Burial followed 
in Oakview Cemetery in Camilla.  Pallbearers included George Pitts, E. C. Ross, 
J. J. Dixon, Floyd Douglas, Oliver Burford, Millard Johnson.  Bramlett Funeral 
Home in Camilla had charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sanders died Monday, April 
27th, about five o'clock a the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. C. Burford, in 
Perry, Fla., following a six week illness.  Mrs. Sanders was born and reared in 
Mitchell County and was the former Miss Susan Adams, daughter of Wyatt and Mary 
Siegler Adams.  She was born December 28, 1878.  Her husband preceded her in 
death some years ago.  Survivors include two sons, O. C. Sanders of Live Oak, 
Fla., and Hollis S. Sanders of Camilla; two daughters, Mrs. W. C. Burford and 
Mrs. J. E. Ferns, both of Perry, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. H. L. Adams of Pelham; 
thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
