Wingate Sr., 82 who died Wednesday evening in Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany following a brief illness, will be conducted Friday, Feb. 6, 1987 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Parker Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Wingate family lot in Oakview Cemetery. She was born November 29, 1904. The former Miss Ethel Lucile Musgrove, she was a native of Baker County. She was the widow of the late Rosier Kelly Wingate, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1956. Her parents were the late C.C. and Hattie Kelley Musgrove. She was a member of Pinecliff Baptist Church, where she served as assistant pianist for many years, a position she filled until the time of her death. She was a retired farm owner and operator. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James H. (Eleanor) Simmons, and a son R. K. (Bo) Wingate, Jr. both of Camilla, and a sister, Mrs. Willie I. (Essie M.) Newberry Colquitt; five grandchildren R. Kelly Wingate, III Lacy Wingate, and Mrs. Roy S. (Susan Davis) Luke, all of Camilla, Anita W. Taylor, Albany, and Charles J. Davis, Jr. Tallahassee. Also surviving are four great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Simmons residence on Baggs-Ferry Road. Parker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
