Sallie Shine Barksdale is the daughter of Andrew Jackson Barksdale and Mary 
Elizabeth Coart Miller.  She was born February 12, 1869 in Camilla, Mitchell 
County, Georgia.  She married Leon B. Cooper about 1889.  She died in St. 
Petersburg, Florida on April 2, 1924.  She took care of her niece Sarah 
Celeste White at one time and her nephew Ross Barksdale Felts and a nephew 
William Jeffery Barksdale.

This photo was in the possession of Carl Fabin Felts - a nephew of Sallie 
Shine Barksdale Cooper.
