Curry, Mitchell County, GA Microfilm FHL#522,781 (from will book, Court of Ordinary) Georgia, Mitchell County I Elisebeth J. Curry of Ga. Mitchell County being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will & statement. Item 1. I give, bequeath and devise to my granddaughter Ida Everett and her children the following property- to wit one lot of land in the Seventh Dist. of Baker County, Ga known as the Belmont place also my bed and wardrobe in proportion to her own proper use and benefit and free from all charges or limitations whatever. Item 2. I give, bequeath & devise to my daughter Amy Curry Underwood the following property to wit- all my half-interest in lot of land in the Seventh Dist of Baker County, Ga of which my son Wm. L. Curry owns the other half interest & titles to the said parcel of land should be conveyed to the said Amy Curry Underwood by deed before my death also my gold breast pin in her own proper use & benefit & free from all charges or limitations whatever. Item 3. I give, bequeath & devise to my twin daughters Sarah Hudson & Elisebeth Bennett, my stocks in the Augusta Gas Company amounting to ten hundred & fifty dollars to be divided equally among the two. Item 4. I give, bequeath & devise to my granddaughter Elisebeth Warren Underwood the following property to wit- one hundred dollars now held by her father John L. Underwood for which I now hold his note also my bed, bureau & washstand now in possession of her mother Amy Curry Underwood. Item 5. I give, bequeath & devise to my son Joel Warren Curry all my cattle in Decatur County, Ga and my gold spectacles. Item 6. I give, bequeath & devise to my granddaughter Emily Lay Curry all my cattle and interest in Baker County, Ga. Item 7. I give, bequeath & devise to my son William Lewis Curry one hundred and twenty five dollars (125.00) of the notes which I now hold against him. Item 8. I give, bequeath & devise to my daughter Mary Carberine Merriwether, ten dollars of the notes which I now hold against W. L. Curry or that amount of money from other of my affects not disposed of in this will. Item 9. All my affects, property, notes and money not specified in the above items I give, bequeath & devise to my daughters Amy Curry Underwood, Elisebeth Bennett, Sarah Hudson, my son Joel Curry & my granddaughters Elisebeth Warren Underwood, Emily Lay Curry & Ida Everett to be divided equally among them by the executor or this will & statement after the payment of all my debts should I owe any at my death. Item 10. I hereby constitute & appoint my son in law J. L. Underwood executor of this my last will & testament this the 4th day of June 1886. Elisebeth J.
