Monroe Co., GA from Monroe Co. records Georgia, Monroe County This indenture made this the first day of August in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Thirty Seven between Robert Deshazo and Richard Deshazo, Executors of the last will and testament of William Deshazo, late of Twiggs county died of the one part , and Henry Vaughn of Monroe County of the other part, witnesseth that as heirs, the said Robert Deshazo and Richard Deshazo duly appointed and qualified Executors of the said last will and testament did in ___________(can’t make word out) thereof legally advertiseth and this day to wit on the first Tuesday in August Eighteen Hundred and Thirty Seven at the court house door in said county of Monroe __________(can’t make word out) to public entry and sale lot of land number two hundred eight (208) in the seventh district of said county containing two hundred and two and one half acres more or less as a lot of land belonging to the estate of said dec’d when Henry Vaughn being the highest bidder the same was auctioned off to him at the sum of one hundred and two dollars ($102.00). Now for and in consideration of the said sum of money in hand paid at and before this signing and deliverence of these "presents" the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged this said Robert Deshazo and Richard Deshazo Executors as aforesaid doth bargain, sell and convey unto the said Henry Vaughn his heirs and assign the said lot of land to have and hold the same unto him the said Henry Vaughn and his heirs and assign forever in ____ simple _________(can’t make words out) ______Robert Deshazo ______ (not and) Richard Deshazo Executrors as aforesaid, do hereby warrant & defend the title to said lot of land unto the said Henry Vaughn his heirs, executors ______________(can’t make word out) and assign fromm this lawful claim or claims of every other person or persons whatsoever so far as this appointment of Executors authorize and compell them.
