Witnesseth that the said John Funderburk for & in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Churchill Gibron the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained & sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell ________ convey unto the said Churchill Gibron his heirs and assigns all that lot tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the Sixth district of the county aforesaid known in the place of said district by lot number one hundred and eighteen (118) containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less. To have & to hold the said bargained lands and premises unto him the said Churchill Gibron his heirs and assigns together with all and Singular the rights members and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining to his & their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple. And the said John Funderburk the said lot of land unto the said Churchill Gibron his heirs and assigns from the claim of him the said John Funderburk his heirs Executors administrators and assigns & from the claim or claims of all and every other person or persons shall and will forever warrant and defend by nature of these presents in witness whereof the said John Funderburk hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first written. Registered 26th March 1830 Additional Comments: This was lot John Funderburk received in the 1821 land lottery. John Funderburk was living in Jones County, Georgia when lot was drawn.
