Georgia.		This indenture made the fifteenth day of December in the 
year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Twenty One and in the forty 
Sixth year of the Independence of the United States of America between Robert 
Kendrick of the County of Clark of the first and Henry Jemison of the County of 
Monroe of the other part Witnesseth that the said Robert Kendrick for and in 
consideration of the sum of Five Hundred Dollars in hand paid at and before the 
Sealing and delivery of these presents the benefit whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath granted bargained, sold aliened Conveyed and confirmed and by 
these presents do grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said 
Henry Jemison his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate 
lying and being in the thirteenth District in the County of Monroe containing 
Two Hundred two and a half acres which is known and distinguished in the plan of 
said district by the number two hundred and Eighty Nine & which was granted to 
the said Robert Kendrick during the present year.  To have and to hold the said 
tract or parcel of land with all and singular the rights members and 
appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said Robert Kendrick being belonging or 
in anywise appertaining with the remainder and remaining reversion and 
reversions rents issues and profits thereof to the only proper use benefits and 
behoof of him the said Henry Jemison by his heirs Executors Administrators and 
assigns in Fee Simple and the said Robert Kendrick his heirs executors and 
administrators this said bargained for presents or land unto the said Henry 
Jemison his heirs Executors administrators and assigns against the said Robert 
Kendrick his heirs executors and administrators and all and every other person 
or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these 
presents.  
     In Witness whereof the said Robert Kendrick hath hereunto set his hand and 
affixed his seal this day and year first written .
