Georgia		}	This indenture made the Fourteenth day of December in 
the year of our lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and twenty One and in the forty 
sixth year of the Independence of the United States of America Between Jacob 
Martin of the County of Gwinnett of the one part and Henry Jemison of the County 
of Monroe of the other part;  Witnesseth that the said Jacob Martin for and in 
consideration of three hundred fifty Dollars in hand paid at and before the 
sealing & delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by 
these presents do grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said 
Henry Jemison his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate 
lying and being in the Thirteenth Dist in the County of Monroe containing Two 
Hundred Two and a half acres which is known and distinguished in the plan of 
said District by the number Two Hundred and ten and which was granted to the 
said Jacob Martin of Gwinnett County Pitman’s (?) District the Thirteenth day of 
the previous month.  To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with 
all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the 
said Jacob Martin being belonging or in anywise appertaining with the Remainder 
and Remaining Reversion & Reversions Rents Issues and profits thereof to the 
only and proper and benefits and behoof of him the said Henry Jemison his heirs 
Executors, Administrators and assigns in Fee Simple.  And the said Jacob Martin 
his heirs Executors and Administrators and assigns the said bargained presents 
or land unto the said Henry Jemison his heirs executors administrators and 
assigns against the said Jacob Martin his heirs Executors and administrators and 
all and every other person or persons shall & will warrant and forever defend by 
virtue of these presents.  
In Witness whereof the said Jacob Martin hath hereunto set his hand and affixed 
his Seal this day and year first above written.
