DEED:  AMELIA McCLOUD TO JOHN B. ALEXANDER
Book E - page 31-32 dated December 2, 1824

State of Georgia
                        This Indenture made the second day of December 
                        in the year of our
 
 Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and Twenty four and in the forty 
 Eight year of the Independency of the United States of America. 
 Between Amelia McCloud of the one Part  and John B. Alexander of the 
 other part both of the aforesaid State and Bryan County, witnesseth 
 that the said Amelia McCloud for and in consideration of the sum of 
 two hundred Dollars to her in hand paid by the said John B. Alexander 
 at and before the sealing and delivery of these presented the receipt 
 whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Amelia McCloud  have granted 
 bargained and sold aleined rile and all confirmed unto the said John 
 B. Alexander his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or Lot of 
 land containing two hundred two and a half acres situate lying and 
 being in the twelft - district - Monroe County in the said State 
 which said Lot of Land is known and distinguished in the plan of said 
 District by number sixty five having such shape form and marks as 
 appear by a plot of the same hereunto ______. To have and to hold the 
 said tract of lot of land together with all and singular the rights 
 members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever unto the said John B. 
 Alexander his heirs and Assigns to his and their proper use benefit 
 said behoof forever in fee simple. And the said Aamelia McCloud her 
 being and assign the said tract or Lot of land and premises above 
 mentioned and all and Every part and parcel thereof unto the said 
 John B. Alexander his heirs and assigns and against all and every 
 other person or persons whatsoever shall and will forever warrant and 
 defend by these presents.  In witness whereof the said Amelia McCloud 
 have hereunto set - her hand and seal the day and year first above 
 written.
