Green, of Birmingham, Ala., died Sunday morning at the home of her son, Daniel Green, following ill health of a year. Following funeral services in Birmingham, the body was brought to Forsyth for burial, which was held Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Green and her husband, the late Daniel H. Green, were both of prominent Monroe County families. They lived in Forsyth during the earlier part of the century and reared their family here. Mr. Green was in the jewelry business here many years, and owned and operated Forsyth's first telephone exchange. He died in 1916, and shortly thereafter Mrs. Green went to make her home with her children. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. A. D. Ewing, of 1038 Cleburne Avenue, Atlanta; five sons, John, of New York, Stanton, Harold, Lewis and Daniel Green, all of Birmingham; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
