R. B. HAMLIN Mr. Robert Hamlin Dies Saturday, Funeral Services Held Here Sunday Funeral services for Mr. Robert B. Hamlin, 75, who died at his home near here Saturday, were held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Methodist church. The Rev. John Tate, pastor, officiated. Interment was in Fredonia cemetery. Mr. Hamlin was born in Monroe County in 1862 and was married to Miss Sarah F. Means in 1890. He had been a resident of Lamar county for 39 years during which time he served as an active member of Marvin church. Surviving Mr. Hamlin are three daughters, Miss Adell Hamlin, of Barnesville; Mrs. Elizabeth Abernathy, of Copperhill, Tennessee; and Mrs. Ruth Cole, of Barnesville; two sons, Mr. Frank Hamlin, of Copperhill, Tenn., and Mr. William Hamlin, of Barnesville, Ga. Additional Comments: Robert Brown Hamlin was born 19 June 1862, the son of William E. Hamlin and Ann C. (Hester) Hamlin. Robert was a circuit riding Methodist minister for many years in the Barnesville area. He married Sarah Frances Means on 26 December 1889 in Monroe Co., GA.
