Mrs. J. T. Horne Buried Monday
Former Resident of Redbone Dies in Brent
     Funeral services for Mrs. J. T. Horne, 88 years of age, were held Monday 
afternoon at Tabernacle Church, with the pastor, the Rev. J. F. Thompson, 
officiating.
     Burial was in the Clements cemetery in Redbone.
     Mrs. Horne was a native of Redbone and lived all of her life in this 
section.  She made her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. 
Clarence Horne.  They lived in Redbone until they built them a new home in the 
Brent Community a few years ago.
     She was a member of Tabernacle Methodist Church and was active in church 
and civic affairs until her health failed several years ago.
     She died at their home Saturday night after being confined to her bed for 
more than a year.
     Survivors include her daughters and son, Mrs. Jim Coleman, Perry, Mrs. 
Carl Owen, Brent; Cliff Horne, Atlanta; Hugh Horne, Barnesville; and Clarence 
Horne, Brent.
