MORTUARY.

Forsyth, Ga., January 22-
Elder Duncan G. McCowen died at his home in this city this evening after an 
illness of several weeks.  Mr. McCowen was in his eighty-first year, and had 
been a Primitive Baptist minister for more than fifty years.  He leaves a wife 
and four children, J. D. McCowen, R. G. McCowen, J. M. MCCowen and Mrs. M. E. 
Shi, all of Forsyth.  Mr. McCowen was an uncle of Senator Duncan U. Fletcher, 
of Florida.
